Jung Ah Lee Pianist
Pianist Jung Ah Lee was born in 1987 in Seoul, South Korea. During her education at Sunhwa Arts high School, she was awarded an honor prize for six years. At the same time, Jung Ah won the First place during her university entrance exam, thus earned a scholarship for the entire study period at Seoul National University.
After completing her bachelor's degree, she traveled to Germany and completed a master's degree at the University of Music Freiburg with 'summa cum laude'. Currently she carries a DAAD scholarship holder and is participating in the study program Concert Exam Masterclass with Professor Gilead Mishory at the University of Music Freiburg.
Jung Ah Lee participated in various competitions. During hers studies in Germany she became a finalist of the 'Jeunesses International Music Competition Dinu Lipatti' in Romania(Bucharest), and Mozarte International Competition in Aachen(Germany), 'Campillos' International Competition in Spain(malaga), and won the third prize in the International Piano Competition 'Vietri sul Mare' in Amalfi(Italy), Lagny Sur Marne Competition in France(Paris).
As winner of the Eumyoun competition, thus she received a YAMAHA scholarship for her studies. She was also a prize winner at the Busan MBC Copetition, Hankuk Daily Press Competition, Kukmin Daily Press Competition, Segye Daily Competition.
Her concerts took place in in the City hall Coburg, Germany City hall Lagny Thoriny in France, in the Egerland culture house in Marktredwitz in Germany, Aula minor Abtei Bolduc Saal in Kerkrade in Nethelands, the theater Kumedi in Riegel at the Kaiserstuhl, and Korean cultural center in Berlin. While studying in Korea, she gave her first solo concert in the Concert Hall of Seoul National University on the recommendation of Professor Hie-Yon Choi.
As of her great passion for modern composition, Jung Ah Lee has premiered many new pieces by young composers. and Through this musical event, she made a name of herself as a piano soloist in Korea. and She is currently teaching at Seoul National University of Education.

피아니스트 이정아는 일찍이 선화예술중·고등학교를 6개년 실기우수상을 수상하며 졸업, 서울대학교 음악대학에서 단과대학 전체수석으로 입학하며 전액 장학금을 수여받았다.
이후 국내 피아니스트의 중심계보인 최희연 교수 문하에서 기악 학사학위를 취득한 이정아는 도독하여 독일 프라이부르크 국립음대에서 석사과정을 연주와 논문 모두 최고점수로 졸업하였으며 동대학원 연주학 박사과정을 독일 정부 학술교류처 DAAD 장학금을 2회 연속 수여받으며 심사위원 만장일치(mit Auszeichnung)로 졸업하였다.
유년시절 음연콩쿠르 우승(YAMAHA사 장학금 수여), 세계일보 콩쿠르, 부산MBC 콩쿠르, 국민일보콩쿠르, 한국일보 콩쿠르, 등의 유수의 대회에서 입상하였고, 부상 및 오디션을 통해 한음협주곡의밤(리스트 피아노 협주곡 1번), 서울대학교 SNUPO와 협연(차이코프스키 협주곡 1번)하였다.
해외에서는 이탈리아 아말피 비에트리 술마레 국제콩쿠르 3위, 페트루치아니 국제콩쿠르 청중상, 루마니아 디누 리파티 국제콩쿠르, 독일 아헨 모차르테 콩쿠르, 스페인 캄피요스 국제콩쿠르 등에서 파이널리스트에 이름을 올렸다.
제51회 창악회, 미래악회, 6인의 작곡발표회, 대한민국 실내악 작곡제전등에 초청, 베를린 한국문화원 주최 현대음악공모전 당선되며 현대음악 연주에도 활발하였으며 유학 마지막 해 프라하 시민회관 스메타나홀서 북체코 교향악단과의 협연(슈만 피아노협주곡 1번)으로 유럽 무대에 성공적으로 데뷔하였으며, 우크라이나 하르키우홀에서 우크라이나 방송교향악단과 협연(라흐마니노프 파가니니 랩소디)하여 현지 언론의 찬사를 받았다.
현재 서울교육대학교, 세종대학교, 선화예고에 출강하며 음악실기지도법, 피아노교육론, 피아노반주법, 피아노실기 및 지도법, 피아노앙상블, 고급음악실기지도 과목을 강의중이며 2020-2023까지 4년간 총 8차례의 전국 투어 공연을 통해 피아노의 '신약성서'로 불리우는 역사상 가장 위대한 걸작인 베토벤의 32개 소나타 전곡 연주 사이클에 도전한다.
